HOW WE GET THE INFORMATION AND WHY WE HAVE IT:

 

Most of the personal information that we collect is provided to us directly by you for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Personal identifiers (name/date of birth)

  • Contact details (address/telephone numbers/email address)

  • Emergency contact details

  • Basic medical information (medical conditions which may affect training/allergy information/medications)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  • Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us. (See contact details)

  • We have a contractual obligation

  • We have a legitimate interest

 

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE HAVE:

 

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • make contact with you

  • to understand any needs that you may have to be able to train with us

  • to be able to contact someone on your behalf in an emergency situation

  • investigate any allegations/accusations that could be made towards the club or it’s members (CCTV)

 

We may share this information with:

  • the emergency services in the event of a medical emergency or serious injury

  • the police as part of any criminal investigation

 

HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION:

 

Your information is securely stored in a locked cupboard or electronic information is password protected.

We keep the above-mentioned information for the duration of your membership and for the required time following the ceasing of your membership.

 

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS:

 

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

 

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
